About the Journal

The Law School of Tanzania Law Review Journal (LST Law Review Journal) contains blind peer reviewed articles aimed at sharing professional insights with the wider community. It also provides avenue to trainers and researchers to disseminate research findings to the public.  The Journal articles are research-based and are subjected to a systematic, rigorous review procedures as stipulated in the LST Law Review Journal Guidelines.

 Aims & Scope

The LST Review Journal publishes articles on all aspects of law. Special emphasis is placed on contemporary developments, but the journal's range includes jurisprudence and legal history. An important feature of the journal is the legal training and practice section, in which members of Law School of Tanzania and other distinguished contributors analyses recent judicial decisions, new legislation and current law reform proposals to enhance legal training in the country and in the region. The articles and case notes are  designed to reflect the widest appeal to those interested in the law — whether as practitioners, students, teachers, judges or administrators — and to provide an opportunity for authors to keep abreast of new ideas and the progress of legal reform. Each issue contains an extensive section of book reviews.

This establishment is an important and reliable source of current information on developments in the field. The journal serves as a forum for research and ideas by leading professors, judges, practitioners, and students of law. The emphasis on publishing in this journal is strongly placed on the highly quality-oriented articles that are rapidly and freely available worldwide.
